- Made:
- 1951-11-26 in Barnet
One photograph titled 'Curious' showing a Ctesiphon Building at the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research station, Barnet. Caption on the back describes how the building, which looks like an outsize jelly-mould, is claimed to be vermin and fireproof and with the highest degree of resistance to shock and earthquake. It says these buildings have been erected as storage buildings, cattle sheds, factories, bus garages and even churches.
