One photograph a worker operating a cement mixer and the scaffolding facing the entrance to the site, street view. Caption on back reads: 'Nine months ago Eastbourne Terrace, Paddington, which overlooks the Paddington Main Line station, was a bombed site. Today three large office blocks, one of 6 stories, one of 10 stories, and another of 19 stories, are nearing completion. The overall length of the three blocks is 1000 ft. Excavations on the site began on August 15th, 1957, actual building began exactly a month later. When the project was started 90 men were employed—now there are 340. The project is called the Eastbourne Terrace Development. PHOTO SHOWS. A view of the projects progress board, which is on view to the public who pass by'.
