2020-2021 in Thailand

Two individual sachets of Sanitex 70% alcohol hand sanitiser gel supplied with COVID-19 polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test completed at a drive-in testing centre in May 2021, Vectair Systems Limited, Thailand, 2020-2021

Between May 2020 and April 2022, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests were available free of charge to anyone in the United Kingdom with symptoms of COVID-19. Tests could be taken in person at drive-through testing centres, local walk-in test sites or at mobile testing units, which travelled around the country responding to need. People could also request a home test kit to be delivered to their door. These sachets of hand sanitiser gel were supplied with a PCR test carried out at a drive-through site in May 2021. Test kit instructions asked people to wash their hands or use a hand sanitiser twice during the process to prevent accidental contamination of the sample.
