One photograph titled 'Speeding the housing drive' showing the Orlit house being erected in Greenwich. This house was one of ten new types introduced by the government in a drive to build more houses quickly. It uses resin bonded plywood glued to timber studding and a pre-cast concrete structure and pre-cast floor and roof beams.
