One photograph of male soldiers unloading sacks of coal from a truck. Caption on back reads: 'To aid in the unloading and distribution of coal supplies in the London area, some hundreds of pioneers have been loaned by the War Department. The picture shows Capt. Mylchrest of Liverpool, Pte. Walker, of Manchester, and Dvr. Smith, of Birminham, with Pte. Timbeley, Manchester, at work at a London depot to-day. Names are right to left'.
