Daily Herald Photograph: Building a clavichord

One photograph of Gordon Glegg building a replica of an 18th-century clavichord, titled '18th century music in the making'. Originally from Rochdale, Clegg is building the instrument at the Shoreditch Training College for Teachers, Englefield Green, Surrey, where he is a student. The keyboard instrument has a four and a half octave range.
