One photograph of female workers at the Philips Radio factory titled 'Production Drive Film'. Caption on back reads: 'A new 1,000 ft. film entited "Production Drive" is being made for the Central Office of Information, by the Green Partk Film Company, to show the post war problems with which industry has to contend. The fim will be run for ten minutes, is to be shown in most of Britain's cinemas, and deals with the labour and materials shortage difficulties, which industry is fighting in its back-to-peace and export drive. From all Britain's factories, three have been chosen to supply the material required. Philips Radio factory at Mitcham is the only one selected in the London area'.
