Boots Soltan aftersun in blue bottle
Aftersun products are specially designed to help to moisturise and sooth the skin after being in the sun. While the scientific evidence for its use is inconclusive, aloe vera is a common ingredient in aftersun. There is a long history of aloe vera being used in cosmetic products and it is thought to have been used by Cleopatra more than 2,000 years ago as part of her beauty routine.
