Two condenser lenses used with British National Bubble chamber, made by Optical Works Ltd in 1970. This type of lens is a spare for the type which would have been used to illuminate the bubble chamber in tandem with a flashlight, thus allowing the path of the ionising particles through the chamber to be observed. The British National Bubble Chamber was a pioneering piece of equipment in this field.
