Silver gelatin print by Nixon for the Daily Herald, dated 19 February 1945. Image shows Odham's Press publicity department employee Bettina Hutchinson at The Acorn, Barnet Young People's Club in Greater London. Caption on verso reads: "At the Acorn, Barnet Young People's Club. A game of darts in progress. With table tennis and other games, dancing and music, film shows, lectures and a free cup of tea and a cake, nightly membership fee is only 4d.

This photograph accompanied an article titled "A Model for Britain's Youth Clubs: Acorn is Shining Light" by Mea Allan, which appeared on page 3 of the Daily Herald on 19 February 1945.
