Album of railway sounds recorded in 1959, first published in 1963 by Argo Transacord as DA 21 (mono) and ZDA 21 (stereo), re-released in 1970 as ZTR 108 by Argo Transacord and re-released in 1981 by ASV Transacord as ATR 7009 (with an extra track compare to the previous versions), also issued on audiocassette ZC ATR 7009. SPV Transacord released SPV CD 017 in 2000 with the same title on compact disc (CD), though the content is different. Commercial edition for ZDA 21, Argo Transacord version. Recordings made during a record breaking journey between Kings Cross and Doncaster on 23 May 1959. The train, headed by 'A4' Pacific No. 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, driven by Bill Hoole, reached a speed of 112 m.p.h on the return journey
