The Whitehaven, Cleator and Egremont Railway was a railway built in Cumbria to transport hematite iron ore to steel works on the Cumbrian coast. The railway was amalgamated as a joint line with the LNWR and Furness Railway in 1877. These drawings were prepared a few years after the amalgamation with a record of land ownership along the route of the railway.
