Parkesine Medallion. Brown. In poor condition (badly made). One side shows Prince Albert in right profile and stamped around rim with "Prince Albert Consort of Queen Victoria". "J.Moor BHam" marked below his head. Other side has raised border of leaves and berries stamped with "Parkesine Exhibition Medal Awarded 1862. A.Parkes Birm Patentee". Marked P85. Made by Alexander Parkes; c.1862.
