A home made mix tape. A compilation audio cassette compiled by a friend and given to Elizaveta Butakova in 1997. Comprising cassette, cassette case and inlay card.

Home made mix tapes were widely created and enabled people to collect and share their own musical loves and experiences. Mix tape makers often designed a handmade cover, infused with the creator's personality. Mix tapes gave freedom to both listeners and creators to build their own musical experiences and to be able to share and pass arond those experiences.

This mixtap - Liza's Mega Mixtape - was given to Elizaveta Butakova in 1997 by a friend. It is a mix of Techno tracks with a hand-written and coloured inlay card and a decorated cassette. At that time, Liza and her friends would frequently make and exchange mixtapes, often reusing the tapes and cases.
