Ferranti Autocourt Petrol Pump, 7000 series, introduced 1982.

This was built by Ferranti Autocourt, a subsidiary company of the Ferranti Industrial Electronics Limited (based in Halkeith Scotland) which specialised in developing fuel dispensing systems. This pump was explicitly designed, with emphasis on new electrical monitors and systems, to allow self-service refueling, in contrast to earlier and simpler mechanical pumps which were often operated by staff.
