English painter and part of the Newlyn School painters. Bramley studied at Lincoln School of Art and the Royal Academy in Antwerp. He was elected associate of the Royal Academy in 1893 and became academician in 1911. He regularly exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1884-1912. Bramley died in 1915.
