George Nathaniel Curzon was born at Kedleston Hall, Derbyshire. 1872-1878 - At Eton College. 1878-1882 at Balliol College, Oxford. President of the Oxford Union. Part political apprenticeship under Lord Randolph Churchill. 1886 - MP for Southport. 1887-1894 - travelled around world, including Russia, Asia, Persia and Afghanistan. 1898 - Viceroy of India. 1915 - reported to have secured even justice for Indians against Europeans. c. 1902 - opposes Lord Kitchenor.
