
1972 - received a B.A. in Natural Sciences from Queens' College, Cambridge. 1977 - takes a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Science at Cambridge. 1989 - appointed Assistant Director and Head of Science Communication at the Science Museum, London and Professor of Public Understanding of Science at Imperial College, London. 2000 - appointed Chief Executive of At-Bristol. 2005 - takes up a joint appointment as an Adjunct Professor in the STS Program and Director of the MIT Museum.
