Frost was a prominent member of the Muggletonians, a small Protestant sect, in the nineteenth century. In 1846 he published 'The Two Systems of Astronomy' with colour prints by George Baxter based on his own drawings. Frost and his brother Joseph were brass-founders based in St John's Square, Clerkenwell, London.
