Founded as Bruce McLaren Motor Racing in 1963 by New Zealander Bruce McLaren, McLaren Racing is primarily a Formula 1 racing team based in Woking, Surrey. It is the second oldest Formula 1 team after Ferrari, having competed in the sport continuously since 1966. McLaren has also competed in a number of other racing series, including Indy 500 and the Can-Am series.
