Chester & Birkenhead Railway 1837 - 1847

Authorised on 12 July 1837, the 14.5 mile line, opened on 23rd September 1840. It was absorbed into the Birkenhead, Lancashire & Cheshire Junction Railway on the 22 July 1847.
