Laboratory glassware, butyrometer, made by Griffin and Tatlock, London, England, date of manufacture unknown. It has has two elongated bulbs (one sealed and the other stoppered) separated by a graduated tube. The upper, stoppered bulb has the inscription "25" and the lower, closed bulb has the inscriptions "2ml", "20°C" and the barely visible trademark "GT" in the form of a triangle.

Butyrometer

Laboratory glassware, U-tube with ground glass capped ends , maker, place and date of manufacture unknown. The two ends flare away from each other at about 45° to the vertical. One tube has a bulb just before it flares away and both tubes have ground glass cups at each end. One cup is broken. Both flared tubes appear to be capilliary tubes.
