[Describes a trial of boring limestone, with detailed results; estimates likely output of "the engine at Hayle" when used for limestone cutting. In postscript: has sent to John Gould an estimate for an engine etc "for clearing mud from Falmouth Harbour".]

Asks Edmonds, his solicitor, to draw up an "indemnificiation" releasing John Williams from "all demands on Treshuly and Wheal Chance mines in future"; in return Williams will pay £150. Lengthy discussion of arrangements for transmitting the document to Williams]

[Description and specification of] A Plan, Side and Cross Section for a Wrought Iron Ship/ Richard Trevithick [c. 1830] 2p. on 1 leaf. ["... a Wrought Iron ship scale one sixth of an Inch to the foot 70 feet Long and 35 feet Wide on the deck and 10 feet deep in the hold with three Iron Keels of 2ft wide with Iron ribs for strength[en]ing the hulls.
