Durutti Column/Situationists promotional poster for The Factory

Collection of posters, flyers and artworks for posters relating to Factory Records

Album by Durutti Column. 12-inch vinyl in sandpaper sleeve inspired by Memoires by Asger Jorn and Guy Debord. The sleeve was assembled by members of Durutti Column and Joy Division at 86 Palatine Road, Didsbury. The first editions came in a plain sandpaper sleeve. This edition is a later edition with the title and Factory catalogue number stencilled on the sleeve in silver paint. Sleeve design by Dave Rowbotham and Tony Wilson. Sandpaper supplied by Naylor's Abrasives, Stockport.

FACT 14 The Return of the Durutti Column

Booklet issued as item 4 in a series of 10 merchandise items or events developed to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Punk. FAC 151 The Festival of the 10th Summer ran from 12-20 July 1986 and was organised by Factory Records. The booklet includes pieces by Jon Savage, Linder, Cath Carroll, Liz Naylor, Richard Boon, Paul Morley, Tony Wilson, Howard Devoto and Rob Gretton. It is referred to in promotional literature as "How was it for you, darlin?" or "The back pages".

FAC 151 The Book

A4 artwork for a flyer designed by Tony Wilson for The Factory Night at the Russell Club, featuring Big in Japan and The Germs. The artwork is a détourned piece with a montage of images and text applied on top of the images.

Poster designed by Tony Wilson as a cocktail menu for The Kim Philby Bar and the Hicks Bar at the Haçienda. The poster features an image of Anthony Blunt at the top of the poster and smaller images of Kim Philby and Guy Burgess (whose cryptonym was Hicks) at the bottom of the poster.
