The object has the Wood Bros trade mark ('W' in an irregular hexagon) on the side of the beaker underneath the word 'FIRMASIL' also written in blue with '100ml' written underneath the shield-shaped logo. The object features a blue sticker marked 'SC64'.

Glass flask, 1000mL distillation flask with side tube, ground glass neck and glass stopper. Made by Wood Brothers Glass Company Limited in Barnsley, England between 1915 and 1980. The object has the company logo on the neck of the flask featuring a 'W' and 'WOOD BROS, BARNSLEY, MADE IN ENGLAND' with '1000' written underneath it.

Glass flask, volumetric flask, 100mL. Made by Wood Bros, Barnsley, England.Date of manufacture 1923. "320" inscribed near to mouth of flask. Wood Bros logo appears on neck. Below that is inscribed "NPL" in merged letters, "23". "C.1" inscribed just below the fill line. On the bulb of flask are etched "100.C.C." and "15oC".
