1998

One plastic vial sample of alpha-1-antitrypsin, PPL Therapeutics' first medicinal protein product. Made by genetically modified sheep (Tracy being the first of these) and extracted from their milk at the facility near Edinburgh. At the time of collecting, AAT was in clinical trials as a treatment for the symptoms of cystic fibrosis. Made in 1998.
