Utility-type chest of drawers, part of original furnishings brought to Harvard Hospital by the American Red Cross, by High Point Furniture Company, North Carolina, 1940-1942, later used in volunteers flat at the Common Cold Research Unit

Utility-type chest of drawers

Child's chest of drawers made in the shape of a railway wagon. Features five drawers, a mock tarpaulin covering sheet and 4 mock wheels. 'Wagon' side features the legend "C O" (Christopher Oldham), and the smaller legend "from Auntie Rona (?) & Uncle Berr"
