Coloured and framed drawing of "Rocket" locomotive when owned by James Thompson of Kirkhouse, Cumbria, about 1840. Thompson was "Rocket's" last commercial owner when the locomotive was operating on the Brampton Railway. Passed down through the Kirkhouse family until sold at auction in 1972 to Alan Stoyel who has bequeathed it to the museum. Coloured drawing of "Rocket" locomotive circa 1840
