Binson Echorec 2 T7E magnetic disc delay c. 1963. serial no. 3953. Valve-based. In lilac and black case (not original). Included in case is a bottle of oil (not original). This iconic magnetic disc delay unit was made by an Italian company from 1961-1979. The Echorec has been, and still is, used by a wide variety of artists, including: Dave Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Syd Barrett, Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), The Edge (U2) (see https://audiohertz.com/2017/09/28/the-story-of-dr-bini-and-the-binson-echorec/ for further history of the Echorec). Echorecs are relatively rare, in good order, and much emulated in modern effects pedals and digital plug-ins.
