Flare lamp, N. Rly(?), conical body with transverse sheet metal handle. Sheet metal lid with top loop - unward curved spout in copper - curved sheet metal drip catcher below spout. At lowest point where this meets the lamp body there's a hole leading inside vessel. Main vessel divided into two tanks, with the upper one supplying the main wick, and the lower one having separate access from a screwed fitting at the rear. Chained wick adjusting spike is mounted on the front of the body
