Stereo-graphoscope with large magnifying lens. Floor standing, on casters, ebonised wood with chased and inlaid decoration, ornamental handles. Unknown manufacturer, about 1900.

Alfred C Kemper, Chicago. All-metal box camera for 1 1/4 inch film camera, 1 /8 inch diameter. Simple lens; removable cap with small aperture. T/I shutter. Removable disc in back to convert to graphoscope viewer. Two spring retaining clips. No 13286. In original carton.

Kombi camera, 1895. Manufactured by Alfred Kemper, Chicago. Miniature brass box camera and graphoscope. Roll film 1 1/4 inch wide, pictures 1/4 inch square. Simple lens, fixed aperture and focus. Time and Instantaneous shutter, in original carton. Lens, pressure plate and mask missing. Serial No 15107. (M1308)

Small painted lacquer graphoscope. 22.5 x 14.5 x 7cm closed. In black lacquer painted with a flower motif in colours. Lens to a Z shape. Fitted with a 9.5cm large lens paired with stereo lenses in lid. With a three position supporting leg. Overall (deployed): 266 mm x 148 mm x 260 mm.

Pocket graphoscope for Cartes de Visite

Black textured paper covered box, 19.5 x 12 x 3cm when closed. 6.3cm diameter lens in the lid which erects by internal spring hen opened. The interior is lines with blue paper. There is a sliding simple holder for cards and space for a number of cabinet sized pictures. The fabric hinge is broken.

Large graphoscope with dimensions when closed of 16 x 9 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. With a 61/2 inch diameter viewing lens. Fitted with stereo lenses in opera glass mount and with rack and pinion focusing. Of the folding Brewster type viewer for stereoslides. The lid with mirror is missing. Veneered and inlaid with makers mark of a star on the support strut.
