[Ms. lecture notebook] Notes taken during a Course of Chemical Lectures given at Paris in the winter of 1802-3 by Monsieur Vauquelin / [Thomas Russell. Vauquelin had given five lectures before Russell began to attend. The "decree for the arrestation of the English 27 May 1803 put an end to my attendance". 57p. used. At back of notebook are similar notes (2p., in French) on 'Botanical Lectures of M. Desfontaines at the Garden of Plants May 1803'. Russell is the assumed author; this item was purchased with inv. no. 1992-299 (MS 423/2)]
