Lens panel pulls out and is locked by hinged front flaps. Two bladed shutter 1/2/4/8/16/32/64/100/T lens missing. Rack and pinion focusing. Rack and pinion rising front. Two brilliant reflecting finders, bag type changer with 12 plate holder. Fitted with Ross lens. 288 (M4056).

Gaumont magazine plate camera, made by Le Comptoir General de Photographie. Tapering box-form magazine plate camera for 9 x 12cm plates. Zeiss anastigmat lens, E. Kraus, Paris, F;224mm, f/12.5. Number 21556. Decaux shutter with winding key dash-pot type speed adjuster, calibrated 1-4. Rack and pinion focusing to 1 meter. Hanau-Richard type rapid push-pull slide changer for 12 plates with flexible wooden shutter, spirit level and exposure counter. Direct vision optical frame finder. Focusing screen; in lined carrying case. Number 842.

The Key camera. Manufactured by the Platinotype Co. For 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 plates. Box form magazine camera. RR type lens F.6". No aperture adjustment. Double V shutter with uncalibrated tensioning screw for varying speed. Screw focussing. Shoes for clip-on viewfinder (missing) with two spirit levels.. Special Key plate carrier contains two unmounted plates in turn allowed to fall into slots at camera back, returning to carrier after exposure.
