Gives details of slips already installed at various ports, methods of using the slip, etc. Bears ms. notes, possibly by Joshua Field. Engraved heading illustrates sections, elevation and plan of the slip in use. Morton, late a shipbuilder in Leith, had premises in Pilrig Place, Edinburgh. 2p. on 1 leaf]
