Photographs, album featuring the construction of the West Highland line extension from Fort William to Mallaig, Scotland. Brown cloth covered, 230 x 176 x 37mm, 'Mallaig Railway', 48pp, 50 silver gelatin, platinum and POP photographic prints. Also includes views of railways and life in India. Date c 1899 - 1903. Album believed to have been owned by George MacLachlan, an engineer who worked on the construction of the line.

Red cloth covered album, 240 x 179 x 45 mm, 60pp, 76 silver gelatin, platinum and POP photographic prints. Also includes family photographs and images of unidentified colonial location. Date c 1897 - 1910. Album believed to have been owned by George MacLachlan, an engineer who worked on the construction of the line.
