Male, ancestral figure of carved wood. The figure has a beard of natural hair, inlaid cowrie shells for eyes and a detached piece of tusk that was originally in the nose. The figure is mounted on a wooden base and is from the Mundugumor tribe, Sepik River region, New Guinea, 1871-1920
