Clear glass, circle based bottle with cut glass stopper and transfer printed label. Containing unknown quantity of octagonal-shaped codein lozenges (Trochisci codeinae). Label inscribed with 'TR. CODEIN'. Each lozenge is impressed with the legend CODEIN'. Perhaps an indication of manufacturing chemist 'Savory and Moore'?. bottle; controlled drug; codeine 1850-1900
