Cooper's Electrical Illuminating Cloth, serial no 5428, a baize cloth with bare electrical conductors sewn inside it to be placed under the d ining table, so that candle sticks with electric light bulbs with pins in their bases press in to the baize thereby lighting up, patented by Henry Cooper of Bakewell in 1902 (patent no 2284), English, 1902-1905. green one side, beige the on the other.
