[Manuscript description of three items of apparatus used by Frederic and Irene Joliot-Curie in 1934 in experiments to discover artificial radioactivity / Faculte des Sciences de Paris. Institut de Radium Laboratoire Curie. [1 leaf. The three objects, a shaped glass tube; a valve amplifier (made by Frederic Joliot-Curie); and an electro-chemical counter (made by Machlett Laboratories Inc) are all in the Museum's Atomic Physics/Nuclear Physics Collection with inventory numbers 1982-548, -547 and -549. The first-named is illustrated on the leaf. The description (in French) is on verso of Faculte des Sciences de Paris notepaper]
