Large reflecting telescope with accessories, built by Hammersley with 36 inch glass mirror made by Andrew Ainslie Common, Ealing London in 1888. Used at the Solar Physics Observatory, South Kensington, London from 1889 to 1913 then at the Solar Physics Observatory, Cambridge from 1913 to 1950s.
