One male human skeleton of Iron Age date from Whitegate Farm, Bleadon. 'Bleadon Man’ is a skeleton of a 50 year-old man found during the building of new houses in Bleadon, Somerset, near Weston-super-Mare, in 1997. He had been 5 feet 6 inches (1.68 metres) tall and suffered from arthritis. The bones were carbon-dated to 100 BCE Skeleton of Bleadon Man, 1999. 100 BCE
