The photograph shows Mr Price pointing to the spot on Haw Bridge where he found bloodstains. On 3 February 1938, Mr H C Price found bloodstains, and three salmon fishermen discovered a human torso in the River Severn, near Haw Bridge, Tewkesbury. The discovery led to a murder investigation which remains unsolved.
