LNER timetable "Government Scheme for Evacuation of Civil Population in One Complete Movement," giving the proposed timings for the evacuation of the civilian population of East Anglia, dated 14 August 1942. Marked "Secret." This was an revised version of an earlier plan which came within three weeks of being put into operation. The plan was overseen by a Civil Commissioner based in Cambridge who had almost unlimited authority to effect the plan. 11.1417 x 7.3228 in.
