Forgestone F500 series 26" colour television receiver, 1979-1980. This set was built from the Forgestone TV kit; with the addition of a Mullard (Philips) Teletext (Videotext) decoder card and ultrasonic remote control. The object was donated along with its manuals and circuit diagrams used by the builder. It is a high quality colour television receiver of its time; with a Mullard Type 20AX picture tube, UHF standard I pin diode tuner, and 11 integrated circuits (entirely solid state). The real wood cabinet is custom-made by the builder and quite attractive.
