Collection of ten specimens of radioactive minerals: Allanite from South Africa, Carnotite from USA, Davidite from Mozambique, Granite from Cornwall, Kolm from Sweden, Monazite sand from India, Pitchblende (with alteration products) from Portugal, Samarskite from Kenya, Uraninite from the Congo, Uraninite (with alteration products) from Tanzania.

Collection of ten specimens of radioactive minerals: Allanite from South Africa

Photographs, black & white prints (and 3 colour and 3 negatives) and postcards, Railways of Sena Sugar Mocambique. Photographs of the premises and the railways on the two estates of the Sena Sugar Mocambique company. The photos show locomotives, wagons, trolleys, factories, flood repairs etc. Includes Hurst Nelson Ltd. record shots of wagons, the sale of which was arranged by Livesey Son & Henderson, consulting engineers. The track was 60cm gauge, and 3' 0 and 3' 6" gauge which connected to the Trans Zambique Railway. The prints are of varying sizes, mostly black and white but with a few colour. Most are captioned and the donor has proved notes. There are a few negatives. Circa 1890s to 1970s?
