Signed AMERICAN PEDOMETER THE NEW HAVEN CLOCK CO USA. The movement stamped brass with brass screws. A spiral spring counteracts the weight. A central knurled knob zeros the hands. A small scale and snake-like lever allows stride adjustment. Said to be made according to the American Pedometer Co’s Patent 738,482 of 1903. 44mm dia.
