Half a box of papers. Gives a very good insight into the development of pressurised suits developed for and used by the Royal Air Force. There is also information about the feasibility of a British effort into getting a manned vehicle into orbit, using a rocket supplied by Avro. Collection of photographs showing the donor and colleagues testing various pressure suits being developed by P Frankenstein & Sons. Some of the suits were attached to Baxter Taylor Woodhouse helmets. Frankensteins worked with A V Roe at Chadderton to develop a British full pressure suit. The collection also includes a copy of vol.17 no.12 of the Journal of the British Interplanetary Society, containing an article written by the donor and I B Wright about proposals for a pressurised crew environment conditioning system for a manned orbital vehicle.
