Inserted is a leaflet describing the Settle-Carlisle centenary celebrations, issued by British Rail (London Midland Region) and printed by Colorgraphic Ltd. The menu at the banquet was based on the menu of a six-course meal provided at Normanton for the passengers on the first train over the Settle-Carlisle route on 1 May 1876.
