Sack barrow [hotel and luggage truck], London & North Western Railway. Small wooden barrow with two metal wheels marked "Tare 316" M 81265 Ex-Marton. Wheels marked "Wol TW 12", indicating manufacture at Wolverton Works. Evidence in the Wolverton Archive suggests this is actually a hotel and luggage truck built around 1912. See blueprint photograph album showing platform trucks and barrows (WOLV 3/3/2/12). There is a photo of other similar designs marked as 'hotel and luggage truck', and written on it is ‘No drawings of truck TW 12’. Sack Barrow, London & North Western Railway 1912
