Report on visits to U.S.A. and Canada by a team of four from Associated Electrical Industries Limited - Turbine-Generator Division. The main purpose of the visit was to have technical discussions at General Electric, Schenectady and Lynn. Two main topics of discussion were selected: (a) aerodynamics of steam flow path design, with associated mechanical details where relevant and; (b) bearing design and experience.
